Vodafone giving away a FREE Google Nest Hub to new broadband customers

The lead up to Black Friday and Christmas is usually one of the best times to change broadband and TV provider as there's always a host of great deals on offer. 

This year is no different with super deals available from the likes of Eir and Virgin Media already.

And Vodafone is no different, which is giving away a free Google Nest Hub for a limited time.

Vodafone Google Nest Hub offer

Vodafone is currently giving away a Google Nest Hub (2nd Generation) for FREE on all its broadband deals until 3rd January 2024. 

The Nest Hub allows you to control all the smart devices in your home from the one place and works with hundreds of compatible devices such as lights, cameras and TVs. 

It has a beautiful large 7" touchscreen so you'll be able to see everything in the one place, whether it's an upcoming appointment, the weather or your shopping list.

The device usually retails for up to €100, and coupled with Vodafone’s new pricing, which doesn’t shoot up in price after your contract has ended, as well as its new improved TV service, it means there's never been a better time to switch.

Vodafone has a host of great value broadband and TV deals on offer at the moment. You can compare all deals from Vodafone and all the other main suppliers by using our free broadband and TV checker. 

But to get the free Nest Hub you must sign up to a deal that contains broadband, either by itself or in a bundle, on a 12-month contract on bonkers.ie. The offer isn't available if you go direct to Vodafone.

When will I get the Nest Hub?

Eligible customers will receive a unique voucher code and instructions on how to redeem their voucher within 30 working days of the completed installation of their new Vodafone service.

So if you’re hoping to have the device in time for Christmas or to gift it as a present to someone else, just be aware of the timelines. 

Vodafone Play 

Vodafone recently launched its new TV set-top which has some cool premium features like 4K ultra HD picture quality, an integrated Bang and Olufsen surround sound system, and built-in Bluetooth and Chromecast for easy streaming from your phone.  

There's also hands-free voice control; simply ask Google Assistant to control your TV and smart home devices with just your voice.

The box comes preloaded with the most popular apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, RTE Player, and Virgin Media Player to make for easy set-up and viewing. And you can easily search for content across live TV channels and streaming apps with the universal search feature.

Vodafone has also partnered with NOW TV allowing you to easily sign up to the popular streaming service and bundle your subscription and receive the one bill. 

There's also a handy 7-day catch-up feature, while you can record and restart/rewind/fast-forward on selected channels.

I’m an existing Vodafone customer - can I sign up?

Unfortunately if you’re an existing broadband or TV customer with Vodafone then the Nest Hub deal isn’t available to you.

But if you’re a Vodafone mobile customer then you can still sign up! 

If you're an existing Vodafone broadband customer you can, however, sign up to its new better value deals which it recently introduced (as long as you're no longer in contract).   

For example, customers who are currently paying €60 a month for Vodafone’s 500Mpbs fibre broadband plan can sign up to the new €40 a month deal, saving €20 a month or €240 a year. And those currently paying €70 a month for the 1Gbps service can sign up to the €50 deal instead. You can find out more about Vodafone's new pricing here.
