Here's a look at three great deals available from Virgin right now...
Virgin Media's latest deals
This is perhaps one of the best deals on the entire market right now. For just €60 a month for an entire year, Virgin is offering all of the following to new customers:
- Super-fast, 500Mb fibre broadband; perfect for most family's browsing and streaming needs
- Unlimited data
- A TV package with over 100 channels, which comes with Virgin's brand new streaming set-top box
- Multi-room TV viewing - no more fighting for the remote! Now the whole family can simultaneously watch TV in different rooms (offer includes a second set-top box for free for one extra room but you can purchase up to four more if needed)
- The choice of either Sky Sports or Sky Cinema for a full year, so whether you’re a sports fanatic sitting on the edge of your seat for every game, or a cinephile deconstructing every movie for matters of theme and style, there's something for everyone
- Free activation/sign-up
- €100 bill credit if you sign up before 7th February
Seeing as Sky Sports or Sky Cinema usually costs €40 a month each while multi-room viewing usually costs €15 per room, getting all of the above for just €60 is exceptional value.
But if you're not a fan of Sky Sports or Sky Cinema you can a get cheaper, slimmed down package.
For just €50 a month for an entire year, or €55 a month on a two-year contract, Virgin is offering:
- Unlimited, 500Mb fibre broadband
- A TV package with over 100 channels
- Free activation/sign-up
- €100 bill credit if you sign up before 7th February
And if you don't watch a lot of TV, or perhaps you get your TV from elsewhere, you can get 500Mb broadband for just €35 a month on a one-year contract or €40 a month on a two-year deal.

A bit more about Virgin TV
Virgin recently launched its new TV service 'Virgin 360 Streaming', which replaces the Virgin TV 360 box and is a fraction of the size.
The box has lots of the most popular apps pre-installed such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Prime Video, and YouTube, which you can watch in 4K. It comes with up to 500 hours of cloud recording and has voice control search, which you simply activate using the accompanying remote. There is also the option to create separate viewer profiles which is handy for those in large families or renting with others.
On top of getting all your favourite TV channels, Virgin TV also gives you access to its exclusive channel Virgin Media MORE which shows some of the best Irish and international drama and sport.
Virgin's Wi-Fi guarantee
While the Virgin Media network and its Wi-Fi hub are super reliable, if you live in a large home you may suffer from Wi-Fi blackspots.
But Virgin is guaranteeing customers a speed of at least 30Mbps in every room in their home with its new smart Wi-Fi pods.
The pods are a ‘mesh’ Wi-Fi solution that use the cloud to understand how you use your Wi-Fi and will constantly adapt to your surroundings to provide you with the best connectivity possible.
Virgin will initially send you one pod, which you simply plug in to link up to your Wi-Fi hub. And if you still can't get a speed of at least 30Mbps in every room, you'll be sent out up to two more pods at no extra cost. And if those blackspots still persist, Virgin will give you €150 credit!
A helping hand
It's usually fairly simple to set up your broadband and TV yourself and Virgin will supply you with a simple step-by-step guide.
But if you need a hand setting up your service, Virgin customers can avail of its 'Red House Ninja' service. A Virgin 'Ninja' will come to your home, install your services, optimise your Wi-Fi, do a full review of your signal strength and any reach issues in your home, and connect all your devices. They won’t rest until everything is up and running and connected seamlessly. There’s a €50 charge for this service, but you get the added peace of mind of knowing that everything will be set up just right.
