Royal London Insurance DAC
- A lump sum will be paid out if you are diagnosed with one of the specified illnesses covered under your policy - you will have full cover against 50 specified serious illnesses and partial cover against a further 20 specified illnesses
- Partial payment is up to €15,000 or 50% of your specified serious illness cover as of the date of diagnosis, whichever is lower
- Your policy is suitable for family protection and business protection
Quotation is valid for 30 days or until age next quarter (whichever is sooner). This quotation assumes that you are accepted by the insurance company at standard rates. Royal London Non-Smoker rates assume that you have not smoked or used any tobacco related products or nicotine replacement in the last 12 months. All premiums quoted include the 1% government levy. The minimum premium with Royal London is €15.15 per month or €181.80 per annum.
Children's specified illness cover
Pays 50% of the Specified Illness lump sum to a maximum of €25,000 if one of the life insured’s children aged between 1and 18 years of age (or up to age 21 if they are in full time education) is diagnosed with a specified illness.
Indexation
Indexation ensures that your cover increases by 3% and your premium increases by 4% each year. This helps to protect the real value of your cover as time passes.
Serious illness
If you are diagnosed with one of 51 specified serious illnesses during the term of your policy, a lump sum will be paid out. You will also be covered under Partial Payment Specified Serious Illness Cover for an additional 22 specified illnesses.

Helping Hand Benefit gives you one-to-one personal support from your own Nurse Adviser from Red Arc, in order to help you and your family manage the effects that illness or bereavement can have. (In this context, ‘family’ means the spouse or partner of the Royal London Life assured and his/her children).
